An arts and crafts centre for the local community.
Ref: OUT8When a local community group approached us to create a multi-use centre for the local community, we were more than happy to help!
This Christian Healing Centre was built to provide a specialist facility in which arts and crafts could be used as a method of healing. The build was to include an art therapy space, preparation area and accessible facilities to enable it for wider community use when appropriate.
For this community, art plays a significant role in the ‘journey of healing’. To accommodate this philosophy, we created an art room, accessible to all, so that guests could explore their artistic needs in a stunning setting.
The building was built, fully-contained, fitted with toilets and a kitchen area - appropriate both for guests who want to stay overnight or just visit for the day. We planned and executed everything using our Complete Care Package, too!
The final building is just what we wanted, and a year on, is much used by our guests who benefit from the opportunity to explore their faith creatively in such a beautiful environment. The light and airy building is designed to maximise the views of our grounds and surrounding countryside. Thank you to all at The Stable Company and we would definitely recommend them.
