This was a really exciting opportunity for us to create something really unique – a private helicopter hanger in Glasgow.

Client Brief

The client wanted a bespoke hanger space for his helicopter and its associated needs. Special consideration was to be given to ensuring the building was spacious and importantly, secure – while still delivering the desired aesthetic.

Our Solution

Working closely with the client, we created a spacious, secure area including shiplap cladding (stained brown), large frame, ledged and braced timber sliding double doors (and a door for personnel) and further fitted the building with insulated composite roof sheets. We also took care of getting the space approved by Building Regulations on behalf of the client.
