Ref: GRE6This client in Harrogate is a perfect example - blessed with an exquisite garden and grounds, they required a new office space, away from the main body of the house, in which they could do their work in peace while being closely situated to gorgeous natural views.
We were asked to create a bespoke garden room that would serve as an office space. The client wanted the area to be spacious so they could inhabit it comfortably for several hours a day, fitted with extra features that would increase this level of comfort where possible, while also allowing for fantastic views over their natural setting. In addition, they wanted the garden room itself to be attractive, complementing the existing grounds.
We created a gorgeous, grey-blue timber building complete with an expansive set of French doors, which allowed for amazing views across the client’s surrounding garden. To increase their comfort in the building, we additionally installed under-floor heating so that the interior of the building would always remain at a satisfactory temperature, controlled by a digital thermostat and timer. To blend in with its surroundings even further, we chose a sedum roof for the roof covering - a fantastic finishing touch with a lovely eco-friendly edge.
