Each garage building from The Stable Company is tailor made to the customer's requirements at our workshop in York, and installed throughout the United Kingdom and beyond.
Our garages can be either single storey or contain a room above. They can be solely for housing vehicles, or alternatively, be combined with other outbuildings to create a scheme.
At the heart of each of our buildings is a traditional, timber frame structure, beautifully dressed in English green oak. Create that eye catching frontage to your garage with oak posts, beams and stays. Sit the oak posts on to staddle stones for that finishing touch.
Roofs come in differing pitches and can be central or offset. Roofs can also be gabled, hipped or half hipped, or a combination of these, to give the building added character. If your requirement is to comply with permitted development rights, we will ensure your garage is under 4 meters.
We give you a wide range of choices to personalise your garage and make it your own. Choose between featheredge, shiplap or tongue and groove exterior timber cladding. We can leave natural, stain a shade of brown, or paint the cladding any number of colours.
On the roof we can tile your building with cedar or asphalt shingles or lay pantile roof sheets. Alternatively we can prepare the roof structure in readiness for your roofer to tile.
