Stable Materials

You will find below all the standard materials we use on our stable buildings.  Mix and match the materials to create the style you want for your building.

 

Onduline Corrugated Roof Sheets

Onduline bitumen based roof sheets in black, brown, red or green.

A functional roofing system, designed to last between 10 and 15 years.

Fibre Cement corrugated roof sheets

Fibre cement corrugated roof sheets in grey, brown, green or blue.
Other colours available on request.

A great roof covering designed to last up to 30 years.  Its porous structure prevent condensation build up inside the building.  Available with clear roof lights.

Asphalt shingles

Asphalt shingle tiles are laid onto a 15mm hardwood plywood decking.  It is available in charcoal, red or green colours as standard.

This roofing system looks similar to small tiles and is designed to last up to 20 years.

Pantile effect roof sheets

Pantile effect roof sheets are made from a pressed metal sheet.  They are underdrawn with a 15mm hardwood plywood.  Standard colours are terracotta, brown, black or green.

These roof sheets give the appearance of pantiles and are designed to last up to 25 years. 

Cedar shingles

Western red cedar roof shingles and ridge to match.  Laid onto timber latts with a breathable membrane.  These tiles will fade to a silvery grey colour in time and are completely maintenance free.

Designed to last up to 30 years, these are a great alternative to a traditional tile.

Shiplap Cladding

Pressure treated ex 19mm x 125mm smooth shiplap horizontal cladding. 

Featheredge Cladding

Pressure treated ex 19mm x 150mm rough sawn featheredge horizontal cladding. 

Cladding Colours

Standard colours available are natural, light brown, dark brown or black.
Other colours available on request. 

Interior Lining

We have a choice of two interior lining boards for our stables:

Hardwood plywood 9mm, 12mm, 15mm or 18mm thick.  12mm thick is the minimum for stables
Stokbord 9mm or 12mm thick.  This is best fitted to the bottom half of the stables.
